Shining star PATRONS ad instructions
Thank you for becoming a Shining Star Patron this season!
Your Shining Star ad will be included in the professionally printed playbills that are distributed during each theater production. These ads are printed in black and white except for our bonus back page ad. In addition to the playbills, your ad will be seen in full color on the big screen in the Performing Arts Center before each show and during intermission. Please follow these instructions when creating your ad.

File Type: Ad Format must be JPEG or PNG files. Please DO NOT submit a pdf file.
Recommended file size: minimum 1MB up to 10MB maximum, minimum 300 dpi.
Submit your ad to powwow.playbill@gmail.com by deadline provided.

- Can I re-use my ad from last year? Yes!
- How do I create an ad? Canva is a great free app if you are new to this process! Begin by creating a "custom design" and enter the pixel measurements listed above.
- Can you make my ad? Please submit the ad ready for printing as editing cannot be guaranteed.
- Do I need to submit a separate ad for the slideshow if I have a full-page ad? No. Full and quarter-page ads are portrait orientation. If you would like to submit a landscape-oriented version for our big screen slideshow, you are welcome, but not required.
- Can I submit a different ad for the next playbill? Yes. Some of our patrons advertise events. If that event has passed by the next playbill you are welcome to submit a new one. Please let us know in advance as we will have deadlines for each playbill produced throughout the season.
- Do I have to submit an ad? No, ads are optional! If you do not submit an ad, your name or business name will still be listed as a Shining Star Patron in the printed playbills and on the big screen in the Performing Arts Center.
- Is being a Shining Star for individuals too, or just for businesses? Both! Shining Stars are for families & friends also! Your ad can be a personalized ad of your favorite theatre student.
